Every time someone from Oakwood University communicates with the public, it contributes to the our reputation. Newsletters, posters, stationery, T-shirts, websites, videos, displays, and other forms of communication represent not just the individual department or program but the entire University.
Thus it is imperative that our visual communications present clear, consistent, and trustworthy image that reflects Oakwood University’s quality, professionalism and mission. The dependable use of our logos also conveys the message that while we are diverse community, we are indeed one university.
How much space should be between my department name and the logo?
Your department name must abide by the clear space guidelines found here.
However, just because your department name can be as close to the logo as the clear space will allow, doesn’t always mean it should. There are a variety of ways to market materials without having the department name and logo side-by-side. Please view our flyer and poster templates for examples on how to use your department name and Michigan Medicine logo separately.
How do I replace the logo in the PowerPoint template with my approved logo?
Depending on what version of PowerPoint you have, click view in the menue bar or tool bar tab, and select “Slide Master”. Within the slide master, you are able to dictate which elements you want to appear on all slides. for more information on how to use the slide master, please see this brief tutorial.
